After all\, it's the season of giving. The Make A Difference team of our Southwest Gwinnett Chamber engages throughout the year in a wide variety of endeavors to generously serve our communities. Perhaps you've been a part of one?   \n\n \n\nSo as the season of giving arrives\, we'll be talking about how generosity is at work in our workplaces and world. Joining us from Jackson Healthcare is Keith Jennings\, VP of Community Impact. \n\n \n\n\n\nWhat exactly is generosity? Why is it valued by so many\, yet practiced by so few? How does generosity impact our health and wellbeing? Are there correlations between generosity and our sense of purpose and meaning?\n\n \n\nKeith will address these questions and take us on a journey into to the science of generosity. In this role\, he is responsible for the organization's multi-faceted charitable outreach   from deepening external partnerships\, to maximizing associate engagement in community service efforts. This includes advancing the company's LoveLifts community impact platform\, with a special focus on the organization's two priorities: improving access to healthcare and the wellbeing of young people.\n\n \n\nPrior to his current role\, Keith was vice president of corporate marketing\, spearheading initiatives designed to lift Jackson Healthcare's brand\, culture and companies. He continues to support the launch and scale-up of new entities and special projects.\n\n \n\nBefore joining Jackson Healthcare\, he served for nine years as head of planning and marketing for a two-hospital health system\, including direct oversight of its certificate of need applications\, corporate compliance program and medical office properties. Other positions he has held include working with three healthcare contract management firms specializing in orthopedics\, occupational medicine and geriatric psychiatry. Keith is a graduate of Florida State University.
