Our mission is to provide the real estate expertise\, tools and human effort that position deserving towns as alluring locations for national businesses.\n\n\n\nOur speakers will provide an overview of the retail market and trends that may impact our local businesses and our ability to attract new business to the Southwest Gwinnett County area. They will address:\n\n	Current Status of retail: are we really approaching an apocalypse?\n	What are the emerging trends in the way products/services are purchased & delivered?\n	How is Southwestern Gwinnett positioned against other metro Atlanta retail areas?\n\n\n\nScott VonCannon\, CCIM\n\nCOO\n\nScott vonCannon came to Retail Strategies from Nashville\, TN with an extensive background handling economic and community development marketing initiatives. He brings experience working with State officials\, Economic Developers\, Chambers of Commerce\, and municipalities to help promote business growth within communities\, regions and States throughout the Country.\n\nScott has been involved in all aspects of the company including sales\, retail recruitment and client management. Scott has been a licensed real estate professional since 2013 and is working to obtain his CCIM designation. He has spoken at numerous statewide and regional conferences on several topics such as retail attraction\, expansion\, trends and development.\n\n\nElliot Cook\n\nRetail development Coordinator\n\nAs Retail Development Coordinator\, Elliott specializes in retail recruitment and focuses on the identification of companies to fill the product and service gaps within each city's trade area. His primary role is to leverage industry relationships and knowledge to assist retailers' expansion into the Alabama\, Georgia and South Carolina markets.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining the Retail Strategies team\, Elliott worked as a Property Manager for Retail Specialists\, gaining hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry. Elliott also worked for Vornado/Charles E. Smith Realty Trust in the Washington\, D.C. area\, and served as an aide to United States Representative Spencer Bachus in his legislative office on Capitol Hill.
